    Habitable had spent over 25 years building deep credibility in environmental health—but its impact was constrained by how inaccessible that expertise was beyond expert circles. To scale influence across philanthropy, industry, and policy, the organization needed transformation.

    My Role

    As Chief Brand & Communications Officer, I served as an executive partner to the leadership team, leading brand transformation end-to-end. I shaped positioning, oversaw execution, and built the systems needed to embed brand into strategy, operations, and decision-making.

    Impact and Outcomes

    Secured $250K in dedicated communications funding and four new funders after launch

    Expanded reach to global decision-makers

    Built the internal capability to translate complex research for broader audiences

    Positioned the organization to influence international policy, including the UN Global Plastics Treaty
